History of the Department

Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University's Department of Fashion Design & Technology has a rich history of nurturing creative talent and contributing to the evolution of the fashion/Textile/Interior industry. Laboratories & Equipments

The Department of Design is dedicated to providing students with a hands-on and technically enriched learning experience. Our state-of-the-art labs are equipped with industrial machinery and tools essential for imparting practical knowledge. From Single needle Juki Sewing machines for precision in garment construction to cutting-edge textile testing equipment, our labs offer a comprehensive understanding of textile properties and their suitability for various product developments.

Fashion Art Lab:

The Fashion Art Lab serves as a spacious, classroom-like studio designed for students for sketching purposes. Equipped with projectors and comfortable seating, it facilitates the creative process.
